For those who are following the family's summer travels, there are more pix up. As it is getting a little confusing, the following is the chronological list for the albums.
Grand Canyon is the first set of pictures from our Grand Canyon rafting trip beginning with the family making rendevous in sin city.
Grand Canyon Yet Again is a continuation of these pictures.
Colorado River Rapids are the pictures taken from this trip with waterproof cameras, most of which survived. Photography was a little iffy here as we were generally trying to take pictures while holding on for dear life.
Through the Valley of Death begins the chronicle of Pieter's and my trip from Las Vegas through Death Valley and to the eastern slopes of the High Sierras.
Yosemite and the High Sierras continues our journey as we drove up to Reno (stayed less than twenty minutes), spent the night in Carson City, drove by Lake Tahoe, and then through the Tioga pass into Yosemite.
San Francisco was our next destination, where we rented our touring car and caught a tall ship parade.
Then we headed down to our conference in L.A. via the Pacific Coast Highway, a unique driving experience. They do seem to have added many more guard rails since the last time Pat and I drove down it, but they also were repairing some massive washouts and rockslides. This has got to be one of my favorite roads.
